The fish farm in the town of Nikolaevo (currently part of Tundzha-73 EOOD, town of Nikolaevo) was established in 1973. It is located along the Tundzha River and is 500 m away from the town of Nikolaevo (near the dam). Zhrebchevo ”).

It has 6 fattening pools with a total area of ​​2 million 460 thousand square meters., 4 breeding pools, 7 pcs. storage pools and 8 pcs. hatcheries. The total area amounts to 2 million 860 thousand sq.m. Full system production is organized, ie. from caviar to fish for consumption. The farm is of the carp type and it breeds carp, silver carp, grass carp, European catfish, pike, white fish, tench, otter, caracuda.

The farm is one of the largest suppliers of freshwater fish in the country. The company's customers include both large hypermarket chains and specialized fish shops across the country. The company's products are also exported to Serbia and Romania.

Tundzha-73 EOOD has a certificate for entry in the register of persons who breed and raise fish and other aquatic organisms with № 1 / 18.03.2002, issued by the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Tundzha-73 EOOD has a permit for a livestock farm № 24054 / 15.12.2010 issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
